LATITUDE was a fictional typography festival and conference hosted in Glasgow’s South Block. The leaflet produced was to promote the conference, and would be inserted into multiple sponsoring design publications. I interpreted latitude as meaning the scope of skills between the two typographers, and also the physical distance between them, as one was American and the other Bulgarian.
The final leaflet featured floating letters inside the front cover and letters spread across the design in typefaces used or created by the two designers, highlighting how they come together in design although being miles apart. I incorporated a limited colour scheme, so as to make the type pop, and highlight certain areas.
