A new museum situated on Glasgow’s Clyde is due to open in 2018.Iasg, Museum of Fishing will join other maritime attractions on the Clyde, such as Riverside Museum, the Tall Ship. The Iasg Brand has been derived from the togetherness and work ethic shown by the fishermen at sea. The logo has been represented through fishing nets. The fibre and thread works together to create the strong and sturdy structure of the net relating to the fishermen working together. Brand guidelines have been produced containing different sign-age for the museum, photography and merchandise to be sold in the museum gift shop.
