The new clydeside distillery opening in Glasgow released a new whisky to represent the opening of the distillery.


I designed both the packaging and the label for the new scotch whisky. The concept behind the design of my label and packaging came from looking at the history of the clyde and how important the shipyards where to the city. The name was taken from the first steam boat engine to sail down the clyde nicknamed Father of Clyde.


I chose to en-corporate a crane into the design in an abstract manner as they played a big part on the clydeside. The whisky design has a very modern and unique look.
